IRS consignado é a parte do imposto que pode entregar à Associação do Hospital de Crianças Maria Pia quando preencher a declaração de rendimentos e chegar ao Quadro 11 do Modelo 3 de IRS.

A Associação do Hospital de Crianças Maria Pia está habilitada legalmente para que os contribuintes que o desejarem contribuam para que a Instituição receba 0,5% do IRS liquidado e também contribuir com a dedução de 15% do IVA suportado, não tendo custos para o contribuinte.

Exemplificando: se fez uma retenção na fonte equivalente a 800 Euros e depois de fazer as contas, teria que pagar 600 Euros de imposto, o Estado teria de lhe devolver 200 Euros, ficando com apenas 400 Euros para financiar despesas públicas. Deste montante a reverter para o Estado, o sujeito passivo pode dizer onde quer que vá parar 0,5% dos 400 Euros, ou seja, 2 Euros. A este valor chama-se IRS Consignado.

O contribuinte pode também doar à Associação do Hospital de Crianças Maria Pia a dedução de 15% do IVA suportado com as despesas de restauração, manutenção e reparação de automóveis e motos e ainda cabeleireiro e estética.
